You are the most important man in the world.

You are a direction setter, the rudder to our ship. You plot our course and, in faith, believe, prepare, and provide for our future. This is more than financial provision, and far more than possessions. You hold onto hope and see our future and steer us toward all that God has for us. We need you.
And we know deep inside, you question yourself and your ability to be the man we need. You consistently wonder if what you have to offer is enough. You doubt. Your background did not give you what you need to be the man you hope to be, and so the question lingers and haunts and makes you disbelieve that you are indeed a true man. The fact is, you are a true man. You are our man. We need you.
You are a family-tree changer. The pain and disappointment of your past need not dictate our future. You mark the moment in time where everything changes. The ache and hurt from what was in your story does not determine what is yet to come, because you are the portal, the hinge-point, the shift that will forever alter the course of our family.
